Warranty Policy

What’s covered

Every Shengmilo e-bike bought from shengmilo.co.uk comes with a warranty against manufacturing faults under normal use. It runs from the day your bike is delivered and covers the original buyer:

What isn’t covered

• Wear and tear: tyres, inner tubes, brake pads, chain, cables, saddle and grips
• Accidents, crashes, jumps, racing and other misuse
• Damage from the wrong or a non-original charger, or from charging or storing the battery incorrectly
• Water damage from submerging the bike or jet-washing it
• Modifications or repairs we haven’t approved
• Cosmetic marks such as scratches and chipped paint that don’t affect how the bike works
• Theft, and bikes bought from other sellers

How to make a claim

1. Get in touch with your order number.
2. Tell us what’s wrong and send photos and a short video.
3. We’ll work out the problem and send the replacement part, normally within a few working days.
4. If it isn’t a repair you can do yourself, let us know and we’ll agree the next step together.

If a part is faulty, we’ll pay to get the replacement to you, and for any return we ask you to make.

Accident damage

Accidents aren’t covered, but we can sell you the parts you need. Get in touch with your order number, photos and a list of the damaged parts. If someone else caused the accident, ask us for a parts price list for your insurance claim.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is on top of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, not instead of them. Your bike must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Within 30 days of delivery you can reject a faulty bike for a full refund. For the first 6 months, any fault is assumed to have been there at delivery unless we can show otherwise. You may be able to claim for up to 6 years (5 years in Scotland).
