New S600 PRO vs. old S600 – what’s upgraded?
The S600 became our bestseller for a simple reason: two motors, wide fat tyres and a price that made sense. So when we built the S600 PRO, we didn’t want to change what people liked. We wanted to fix the things riders kept telling us about.
The most common one was range. On a long weekend ride, or with a heavier rider, the original S600’s 840 Wh battery could run low sooner than you’d like. The second was braking: the S600 used mechanical disc brakes, which work, but need more hand force and more adjusting than hydraulic ones.
The S600 PRO answers both. The frame, the two 1000 W motors and the riding position you know are still there. What changed is everything around them.
The short answer
If you already own an S600 and you’re happy with it, keep riding it. It’s still a strong bike. If you’re buying today, the S600 PRO is the one to get: it goes further, stops better and costs about the same as the S600 did.

A bigger battery you’ll notice on every ride
The S600 PRO has a 48 V 25 Ah battery with 1,200 Wh. The original S600 had 17.5 Ah and 840 Wh. That’s about 43% more energy in the same frame.
In real life, this means fewer “will I make it home?” moments. With pedal assist, the PRO is rated for up to 90 km, against 60–70 km for the S600. Real range always depends on your weight, the terrain, the temperature and how much you use the throttle, but the gap between the two bikes stays the same: the PRO simply has more in the tank.
Hydraulic brakes instead of mechanical
A bike this strong needs brakes to match. The S600 PRO uses hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. You need less force on the lever, the braking feels smoother, and the brakes adjust themselves as the pads wear. On a long downhill, or with luggage on the rack, that’s the change you’ll feel most.
The small things that make a difference
Display: a larger 4.2-inch colour display, easy to read in sunlight.
Water resistance: IP64 instead of IP54, so rain and splashes are less of a worry.
Load capacity: the PRO is rated for a much higher maximum load, see the table above.
What stayed the same
Two 1000 W brushless motors with 80 Nm each, 26 × 3.0-inch fat tyres, front and rear suspension, a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain and 25 km/h in EU mode. If you liked how the S600 rides, the PRO will feel familiar from the first metre.
Where can you ride it?
Be clear about this before you buy: with 2000 W, the S600 and S600 PRO are not classed as standard EU e-bikes (pedelecs), which are limited to 250 W and 25 km/h. The rules for public roads differ from country to country; in most of the EU, bikes like these are meant for private land and off-road use. Limiting the speed or switching off the throttle does not change this classification. Please check your local rules before riding on public roads. We’d rather you know this now than after your first ride.

Same power, but the S600 PRO goes further and stops better: a 43% bigger battery, hydraulic brakes and a much higher load capacity. If you are buying today, the PRO is the one to get.

Hello! I promised the review, so here it is. Upon opening the package, I was a bit surprised by how large it is. I checked the dimensions before, but seeing it with my own eyes still shocked me. A positive shock, I may add. You can really feel the two 1000 W pulling like crazy, and the final speed is something I always wanted. I heard the battery is now larger than in the previous model, but I didn't test that one, so I cannot compare. I can say that it shows only one bar less after I took it out for the first test, and I was riding for less than one hour. The bike ride feels smooth and comfortable... I mean, like any other proper mountain bike with dual suspension.
One thing is for sure: it's lots and lots of fun riding it! Maybe not ideal if you want to go out exercising, as the S600 Pro does most of the work for you. Pedaling makes no sense as you can't pedal as fast as the bike goes anyways. I only used is twice now, both quite longer tours, and so far i am super happy with it!! I have the bike for a few weeks in use and am impressed! For the unbeatable price, the bike is really perfect and equipped with good components. The assembly was very easy to do and all components were included in the package. The drive is great and has a lot of power and in addition, the battery also really holds out 40 km in a fully electric ride. The saddle is really very comfortable for a mountain bike.
The overall quality fits so far and the design is also very appealing. All in all, I recommend the bike without limitation!

Ce vélo est génial. Je l'utilise pour me rendre au travail à 55 KM/H et après le travail, nous parcourons les sentiers. Le S600 vous permet de grimper facilement et la batterie dure longtemps. J'utilise l'accélérateur la plupart du temps et je parviens toujours à parcourir 30 miles avec une charge. Si vous pédalez, vous irez beaucoup plus loin. La qualité de construction est solide. Les pièces et le service, etc., on m'a dit que c'était de premier ordre, même si je n'ai pas eu besoin de l'utiliser et que je n'ai eu aucun problème.
